If you’re interested in Invisalign® treatment, you may be wondering what to expect and how your treatment plan will be made. How an Invisalign® Treatment Plan Is Made

The first step in starting your Invisalign® journey is to schedule a consultation with us and tell us more about your smile goals. During this appointment, we’ll take digital scans of your teeth in order to create a 3D image using our iTero Element 5D Digital Scanner. We’ll customize your treatment plan based on your specific needs and concerns in order to help you achieve the smile of your dreams. Once we’ve created your 3D image, we’ll be able to show you a virtual representation of how your teeth will look throughout the course of your treatment. You’ll be able to see the estimated time frame for your treatment and get a better idea of what the final result will look like.

Putting Your Invisalign® Plan Into Action

Once we’ve finalized your treatment plan, we’ll send it off to Invisalign® with your digital scans. They’ll use the latest technology to create your first set of clear aligners. You can expect to receive your aligners in about 2 weeks. You’ll need to wear your aligners for 20-22 hours a day in order to achieve the best results. You’ll only take them out to eat and brush your teeth. Every 2 weeks, you’ll move on to the next set of aligners in your series as your teeth gradually shift into place. Throughout your treatment, you’ll need to come in for periodic check-ups so we can ensure that your treatment is progressing as planned.
